BackLighter – Control Your BlackBerry Back Light!

LCA Mobile has released a new BlackBerry APP to allow users to have more control over back light timing while using any BlackBerry App. It’s great for IM, BlackBerry® Messenger, screen reading, and anytime you want your Backlight ON.

Now you can conserve your battery by setting your main backlight timer to the minimum
10 seconds, then use the quick and easy BackLighter menu to keep your back light on only when you need it. The App also features a configurable maximum Backlight time (from 1 minute to 2 hours) can prevent accidental battery drain from forgetting to turn it off and an o.Optional low battery shutdown can automatically disable BackLighter when your battery drops below a user configured percentage.

The App does not interfere with normal “in Holster” operation of your device and can optionally run automatically on device startup to ensure that you will always have control over your BackLight.
