LCA Mobile has announced the release of Guitar Studio for BlackBerry mobile devices.  The application allows Guitar enthusiasts to look up guitar chords, access their play-along music collections and compose songs while on the go.

Guitar Studio is easy to use and has powerful features that both beginners and professional musicians will love.  The application supports the display of both Chordpro and Tab music files and has an automatic scroll feature that automatically advances the music so you can play along hands free and focus on having fun! If you are learning to play and need to look up a chord, simply high highlight the chord on the screen and then click one button to see lots of ways to play it in the 30,000+ chord library.

The application also has the ability to display Tab Music files as a single seamless line and automatically scroll it across the screen at a speed that matches your playing skill.  If you need to practice one part of a song over and over, simply mark a start and end point and you can automatically loop the music so you can practice it over and over again hands free.

A tone based Guitar Tuner and MP3 Player is also built in so you can play your favourite MP3 along with the Tab or Chordpro music.  You can also loop the MP3 at any point you choose. Want to “lay it down?”  Simply hit the record button and record yourself playing and singing, right to your BlackBerry!

The Guitar Studio App supports both Chordpro and Tab file formats and displays them in an interactive format that allows the user to not only scroll through the music, but also instantly look up any chord that is displayed in the song.  Guitar Studio has over 30,000 Guitar Chords in it’s interactive chord library.

The application is also full of features, including the ability to scroll any chordpro or tab file hands free at the rate and speed that’s right for you.  Tab files can even be viewed as a single continuous line that automatically scroll horizontally across your Blackberry’s Screen.
